What about insurance?
An excessive coverage  insurance purchase is required and protection
packages offer varying levels of  liability, comprehensive and collision
insurance.  Insurance is  provided by our partners at Wheelbase and
Liberty Mutual. Â These packages cover you in the event that you don't
have coverage or your carrier denies your claim. Â If you are visiting
from outside the U.S.A this policy will act as your primary coverage.
 There are three tiers of protection packages for renters:

Motorized Deductible: $2,500 per loss; Trailer Deductible: $2,000 per loss

Can you deliver or pick me up?
Sure! The cheapest and most ideal option is to fly, drive, or take a train to Grand Junction and make your way to our store in Fruita, CO which is about a 15 minute Uber or cab ride from the Grand Junction Airport.
If you are planning a one way trip or planning to fly into another airport such as Moab or Montrose you can select those at checkout and we'll deliver your vehicle there for a fee.
If you would like one way delivery for other destinations please contact us for a quote. We can often accommodate one way deliverers for trips such as drop off in Las Vegas and pickup in Denver.
Cancellation Policy
100% Return
We'll refund 100% of your rental if you cancel 6 days or more before your trip begins.
75% Return
We'll refund 75% of your rental if you cancel 5 days or less before your trip begins
NO REFUND
Cancellations made 3 days or less before your trip start will not be eligible for a refund. For example if your trip begins on a Wednesday your last day to cancel will be the Sunday before.
What gear is included with my rental?
We do our best to provide you with all the gear you need. Â Rentals include a rooftop tent with mattrress, sleeping bags for two, camp stove, utensils, pots and pans, plates and cups, camp coffee maker, solar lanterns, ice chest, camp chairs and table.
We'll provide a dry storage box for you to keep groceries in and a 7 gallon water jug too. Â The water jug will be full when you take delivery but you'll need to make a stop at the grocery store.
Let us know if you have any special requests and we'll do our best to make that happen.
The gear we supply is enough for at least two travelers. Â A family of 4 usually only needs an additional sleeping bag or two. Â Additional gear can be rented to accommodate a larger group if needed.
This is new to us, can you help us make a plan?
THIS IS OUR FAVORITE PART! Â We get excited to help in the planning process. We are surrounded by national parks and public lands that present a wealth of opportunity to explore. Â We an suggest areas for camping and cool stuff to check out. Â When you arrive we will take you through an orientation of the vehicle and all provided gear. Â We can discuss tips for first time campers and answer any questions you have.
We also offer a full trip planning and support service. Opt in for this service during checkout and send us a message to get started planning. We'll schedule a call to hear about the things you'd like to see, do, and experience. We'll draft a plan and go over it with you and make adjustments until we have an amazing plan for you. On arrival we'll hand you a tablet with easy to use mapping software, you'll follow different colored lines each day staying at campsites we have marked out for you. Have questions along the way, just give us a call and we'll help you sort out any last minute road closures, or other plan changes. Its a great way to explore if its your first time.
We are experienced solo travelers and also love to travel with our kids. We recognize special considerations and want you to have the best adventure possible. Please let us know what we can do to help!
Can we go off-road?
We love our rigs and you should too. Â We want you to get out and explore, find new things and challenge yourself. Â However we expect guests to treat our vehicles with care. Â Rock crawling or taking our vehicles to off-road parks is not allowed. Â Hit the dirt and forest roads but use good judgment and keep vehicles off of roads and trails that could cause damage. Â If you venture into an area where vehicle damage could occur you may no longer be covered by insurance. Â You risk losing your security deposit and being liable for all other damages. Just like if it were your own vehicle, you are responsible for all damages that occur
while our vehicles are in your care.
We also love our public lands and require that you stick to designated surfaces and tread lightly. Â For more info on "Tread Lightly" please visit:Â
